Non \u00e8 uno strano parallelo, l\u2019arte viene molto spesso dalla strada, e a celebrarne lo stretto connubio, ci ha pensato <a href=\"https:\/\/theskateroom.com\/\">The Skateroom<\/a>, un progetto\/associazione culturale di Bruxelles che <strong>con una parte del ricavato finanzia ONG in giro per il mondo, come<\/strong> <strong>Skateistan, che si occupa di creare &#8220;skate camp&#8221; per sostenere progetti sociali dedicati a bambini e ragazzi fra i 5 e i 17 anni nelle aree a rischio, in particolare Afghanistan, Cambogia e Sud Africa.<\/strong> Grandi nomi dell\u2019arte, della fotografia, e illustratori di fama internazionale hanno collaborato e collaborano al progetto:<strong> Araki, Paul McCarthy, Jeremyville, Jean Jullien, Steven Harrington, l&#8217;Estate di Jean-Michel Basquiat, la fondazione Andy Warhol, quella di Robert Rauschenberg, la Fondation Magritte, per citarne alcuni.<\/strong> Skateboard d\u2019autore che possono essere una forma di collezionismo, le tavole firmate da ROA, James Jean o a KAWS, decorate per la Supreme, oggi sono valutate intorno ai 6.000 dollari, e infatti i deck ancora privi di ruote, si possono appendere in casa come autentiche opere d&#8217;arte. Dicono alla Skateroom: \u201cCollaboriamo con artisti contemporanei per creare edizioni di opere d\u2019arte sul \u2018medium\u2019 skateboard. Queste opere in edizione limitata sono pensate per essere appese a una parete, proprio come dipinti. Ma chi lo desidera pu\u00f2 tranquillamente utilizzarle per lo skateboarding \u2013 spiega l\u2019azienda -. Continuiamo a esplorare e spingere i confini dell\u2019arte dello skateboard rilasciando edizioni artistiche uniche e da collezione\u201d. Skateboard artistici proposti ad un prezzo accessibile per rendere l\u2019arte disponibile al grande pubblico. Arte e strada, arte e vita.
